Child Safety Standards
SwipePlay (developer: SwipePlay) is a social app for discovering games and connecting with other players. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out the standards that apply to everyone who uses SwipePlay, and how we enforce them.
1. What is prohibited
The following is strictly prohibited anywhere in SwipePlay — in profiles, bios, group names, group pictures, community chats, group chats and direct messages:
- Creating, sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, edited or AI-generated material.
- Sexualising minors in any way, including sexual comments about, or directed at, a person under 18.
- Grooming: building trust with a minor in order to exploit or abuse them, including moving a conversation to another platform for that purpose.
- Sextortion: threatening or pressuring anyone, especially a minor, to share sexual images or money.
- Soliciting a minor for sexual contact or arranging to meet a minor for that purpose.
- Any other content or behaviour that exploits, endangers or abuses children.
2. Age requirement
SwipePlay is for users aged 13 and over. Every account must enter a date of birth at sign-up, and account creation is blocked for anyone under 13. Accounts we find to belong to a child under 13 are removed.
3. Reporting inside the app
Anyone can report a user directly in SwipePlay:
- Open the user's profile, tap the ⋮ menu, then Report User.
- Choose a reason — including Inappropriate content and Underage user — and add details.
- You can also block the user at the same time, which immediately stops them from contacting you.
We review reports within 24 hours, and reports involving the safety of a child are treated as our highest priority.
4. How we respond
When we become aware of content or behaviour that breaks these standards, we:
- Remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- Report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, and to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
- Preserve relevant information where the law requires it, so it can be provided to authorities.
- Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
5. Compliance with the law
SwipePlay complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including obligations to report child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities.
6. Child safety contact
To report a child safety concern, or for any question about these standards, contact our designated child safety point of contact:
Email: swipeplaystudio@gmail.com (subject: Child Safety)
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org.
